Why Agrima Solutions
Most integrators' "why us" page is a list of adjectives. This one is a list of claims with the evidence attached to each, because in a market where anyone can call themselves a smart-home company, the only thing worth reading is what can be checked.
Every Claim, With Its Evidence
| The claim | The evidence |
|---|---|
| Established practice, not a new entrant | Founded 2017, incorporated as Agrima Solutions LLP in 2018 — but co-founder Garveshh Bharania has been working in the industry since 2005, 21 years. Part of the family-run JHP Galaxy Group, whose presence across sectors traces back to the 1930s. |
| Direct manufacturer relationships | Official Direct Crestron Partner in Gujarat; KNX Gold Partner, independently listed in the official KNX installer directory; authorized Lutron dealer and installer; CEDIA member. |
| Certified on three platforms, not one | Crestron, Lutron, and KNX — with a published, honest platform comparison that recommends against Crestron where a project doesn't justify it, and includes Control4 despite Agrima not selling it. |
| Work at genuine scale | Kataria Residence, 85,000 sq. ft. · SK Kalani Residence, 1,50,000 sq. ft. · Keshwani Residence, 80,000 sq. ft. Plus commercial work including Hotel Sayaji (Rajkot & Jamnagar) and the Balaji Wafers auditorium. |
| Third-party recognition | Excellence Award, Residential Villa – System Integrator, Smart Space Awards 2026 — covered in Smart Home World's May 2026 issue. Named a project-category finalist in the 2026 CEDIA Smart Home Awards EMEA. |
| Named, accountable expertise | Every technical guide on this site is written under a real byline — Garveshh Bharania, co-founder — not anonymous marketing copy. |
| Local presence, not a remote vendor | Offices in Ahmedabad (Bodakdev) and Rajkot (Tagore Road), with local teams for surveys, commissioning, and support. |
Built by Integrators, Not Resellers
The practical difference: a reseller sells you a product and leaves the integration to whoever comes next. Agrima designs the system, specifies the hardware, programs it, installs it, and supports it afterward — with one team accountable across all of it.
That's also why the three disciplines aren't separate departments here. Automation, architectural lighting, and audio-visual are designed together from the start, so a client doesn't end up coordinating three vendors, three timelines, and three apps for one space.
What We'll Tell You That a Salesperson Won't
The strongest signal of whether an integrator is worth trusting is what they say when the honest answer costs them the sale:
- Crestron isn't always right. For a mid-size villa on a tighter budget and a faster timeline, a different platform is often the more sensible recommendation — that's stated plainly in our own Crestron guide.
- We don't sell Control4, and we say so on the comparison page rather than leaving it off to make the field look smaller than it is.
- A consumer smart-home kit is sometimes proportionate. If the goal is a few smart plugs and a speaker routine, a professional system is the wrong tool.
- We don't publish project figures we can't substantiate. Where specific system counts aren't independently verifiable yet, they're left out rather than estimated.
Common Questions
Why should I choose Agrima for home automation in Ahmedabad?
Because the claims can be checked: a Crestron direct partnership, a KNX Gold Partner listing in KNX's own public directory, a Smart Space Award covered in trade press, a CEDIA EMEA awards finalist listing, and completed residences at 80,000–1,50,000 sq. ft. scale — with offices in the city rather than remote coverage.
Does Agrima only do Crestron?
No. Agrima is certified on Crestron, Lutron, and KNX, and specifies whichever fits the project — frequently in combination. The platform comparison sets out where each genuinely wins.
Is Agrima a dealer or an integrator?
Both, in the sense that matters: an authorized dealer for the platforms it installs, and the system integrator that designs, programs, and supports them. What it is not is a wholesale distributor reselling hardware to other trades.
Who actually does the work?
Agrima's own certified team — design, installation, programming, and post-handover support. Projects aren't handed to a third party once the sale closes.
Want to test any of this?
The fastest way to judge an integrator is to make them look at your actual project. Share drawings or the site details and we'll come back with a scoped design — including telling you if a smaller system is the right call.
